How is it that you get that oil pastel stroke look to some of your lines? Cuz I know these are all paintings, but is it a particular brush or technique? I've also been curious as to how you plan out your paintings, like, do you add your really solid lines last or is there some masking technique? I'm very inexperienced in painting so I'm not really knowledgeable about it, but your style amazes me and just looks so crisp like it was done digitally, I kinda want to try it out myself next time I feel like painting (which is like never, but I dunno what else I'm gonna use these paints for XD )

I do dry brushing a lot, its where you don't have any or only a little bit of water on your brush so it gets that textured effect. I only do masking if I'm doing spattering in a specific area, but I rarely ever mask anything these days. I always do the backgrounds first and then large areas of color and lastly the details.
Oh yeah! Also I mostly use Pebeo gouache and sometimes a little bit of Acrylia gouache to brighten things up.
