how do you color like this!?

I haven't made one yet, but I mostly use gouache. Basically I do watercolory stuff for backgrounds but for characters I just layer on paint without putting much water in the paint to get everything flat and consistant. Some colors require more layers than others, the brands I use are Pebeo gouache and sometimes a bit of Acrylia gouache to brighten things up a bit.

I asked because this kinda looks like Photoshop, I somehow I has that "natural" feeling of real paint.
